Download: A Sleeping Success
Sometimes it’s just as important to sink into a warm, comfy bed as it is to set up a great day planner.
Regardless of what you might plan for the day, you can’t do it if you are tired.
A good night of sleep helps your body and mind to recover from stress.
There isn’t a magic pill for success but nearly every book on success or planning tends to include its own section on rest and the importance of sleep. This is not a coincidence.
When we go to sleep a little bit earlier and focus on a good night of rest, we can wake up a little bit earlier and get jump start on the day. It’s not science, it’s just how we’re wired.
If you set up your rest schedule to include an earlier bed time and an earlier waking time, you can create for yourself new opportunities for health and wellness simply by being present in the earlier hours of the morning.
So make a date with yourself to go to sleep earlier and wake up a little bit earlier. This will give you time to focus on yourself before the chatter and grind of the day typically begins.
Sleep more. You’ll be glad you did.
