We’re always placing rules on when we can be happy. “I’ll be happy when I get that job.” “I’ll be happy when I get married.” “I’ll be happy when I get a pair of Jordan’s.”. We can choose to be happy any time we want to be. When will now be the right time to be decisively happy?
If we take a look around, however, we can see evidence of plenty of other people being happy and enjoying their life – and they have none of the things we think we need to be happy. They haven’t discovered a trick. There’s nothing they do differently than you other than decide to be happy.
It’s so important to try to be decisively happy each day as much as you can or are willing. It came naturally to you many years ago, you just need to remember what it felt like and then actually believe in being happy. Children are happy, joyous, and full of imagination most of the time. Just like you were.
Why postpone being happy? You can literally begin to change the way you feel and perceive the world in just a moment. What takes the longest amount of time is actually believing in it.
Be happy now. Decide to start enjoying some new hobbies. Go out with friends more often. See a movie. Start writing a journal. Get into photography. Do whatever your heart and soul needs to be happy and do it often. Immerse yourself in it. Decide to start living in each moment.
You can be happy any time you choose to be. So when will now be the right time to start being decisively happy and living the best life possible?

Happiness is not a set of rules, circumstances, or external things. Happiness – true happiness – is a state of mind and a place of being.
It’s a place you go to anytime you want and stay for as long as you like.
