Download: Following Feelings
Do you ever get a gut feeling? Most of us have instincts about many different things.
Experience has already taught us what we like and do not like. We’re already at the point where we know what we want or don’t want in our life. Logically the pieces fit, but does it feel right?
Intuition is one of the greatest tools you have. Of course there will always be times where we make mistakes despite our best instincts. These mistakes usually count as experience.
Our feelings and emotions play a vital role in not only our survival, but our happiness as well. You know when you’re doing something you enjoy or dislike. You know when you are in a job you like or dislike. You know whether the relationship is going anywhere. You just know.
Deep down, you already have the answers you seek. You know you do.
Trust your intuition. Hone your instincts. The more often you trust and believe in your intuition, the better it becomes. Like anything else, your intuition gets better with use.
The next time someone else tells you what they think you should do – stop for a moment – listen to your intuition. Is this really what you want to be doing? The next time an advertiser tries to sell you something – stop for a moment – is this something you’d actually find useful?
Taking just a few brief moments to listen to your intuition can help you make more informed choices.
Combined with your emotions, intuition can help you pave the way for a better life.
The only thing you need to do is slow down and listen.
