Download: Spread the Joy
It is in our deepest instincts to reach out and help one another cope with difficult times.
During the process of helping another with their troubles we feel somehow less bothered by our own.
When we distract another from their problems and worries, we distract ourselves.
In its purest form, the act of helping another through stress and worry makes us better prepared to cope in our own realities.
Through the stories of another we can humanize the deepest feelings we have inside.
If you have the ability, you should spend a portion of your time spreading joy to others and assisting others in need as you can.
Spreading the joy feels good.
There’s just something about making another person laugh or smile that is contagious.
When someone else smiles, you smile. Soon, more people join in and smile. Before long, the butterfly effect of smiling reaches countless others. Each of us is responsible to do our part.
Humans aren’t the only species that can benefit from joy. Our pets and beloved animals also benefit in a similar way. When we love, laugh, and play with them do they not return the joy?
Love and joy are universal languages. Share them and share in them.
