Your life is lived one moment at a time. Through each hour and through each day, we are born and we grow; eventually we die. Yet, we have so much to do. So many things to do.
The largest companies in the world often started small. Apple started in a garage with two employees. Amazon started from a single visionary idea.
From a series of small moments, giants can be built.
One single moment can shape entire histories. One moment can start wars, or end them. One single act of kindness can blossom into a movement. One dollar invested per day could one day become tens of thousands.
If you have an important personal goal that seems large and intimidating, know that it is possible for you. Simply start out by doing one small thing each day.
Make a small list of things you want to do in the future.
Start doing one small action step each day towards its attainment, and it is highly likely you will reach total fulfillment. Small habits formed each day can pay incredible dividends in the future.
Instead of thinking about all of the impossible things and how you can’t possibly do them, just start doing the things you can and see what happens.
Instead of worrying about all the things I want to do but can’t, or thinking that some goals, projects, or aspirations are simply too large I will focus on the things that I can do.
Setting goals is fantastic, but if I just focus on the goal as a prize, I’m going to miss the destination of the journey itself and I will fail to plan the smaller things or take the smaller steps. I can do anything one day at a time.
I can do anything one day at a time.
